Work and Employment Conditions
Established in 1887 as a family company, we are currently seeking drivers to join our team. Our fleet consists of EURO 6 SCANIA trucks, meeting the highest standards for noise reduction and environmental sustainability. Equipped with advanced on-board computers, robbery buttons, geofencing, GPS Track & Trace systems, and connected to an external PAC-approved control room, our fleet predominantly comprises SCANIA trucks with Curtain semi-trailers on one axle (11 meters long). Each truck is equipped with an electrical transpallet and an electrical tail lift.
General Freight Routes
Our routes primarily involve operating C+E Curtain semi-trailers with one axle, with an average of 15-25 stops per day.
Working Schedule
The work schedule entails 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime. There are no weekend shifts or night shifts. The workday typically starts between 6:00 - 7:00 AM and ends between 17:00 - 19:00 PM.
Reporting and Schedule Information
Reports are to be submitted using tablets and phones, while drivers will receive their schedule information through the same devices.
Pallet Exchange
There may be instances where pallet exchange is required.
Housing and Salary
Free housing is provided by the company. The salary is based on working hours at a rate of 17.64€ brut/hr. Additionally, drivers will receive Dutch Allowance, Romanian Allowance, transportation reimbursement from home to work, as well as paid transportation from Romania to Holland and for holidays. Weekly payments are guaranteed, with an expected net range between 700-850€ per week.
Experience and Contracts
We are looking for drivers with a minimum of 6 months of experience on a semi-trailer. Basic to conversational English skills are required. Additionally, a valid Code 95, Driver's Card, and ADR certification are mandatory. Drivers must have their own car for commuting to work. The selected drivers will initially be on a Romanian Contract for the first 6 months, and then transition to a Dutch Contract with the client.
Accommodation
The company provides housing for drivers, offering individual rooms with shared kitchen and toilet facilities among fellow drivers. Drivers will have the comfort of sleeping in their own bed every night.
Additional Benefits
After the first month of work, we can cover the cost of the ADR Course.
Requirements for Drivers
We are specifically looking for drivers from Romania, who will be on a Romanian Contract for the first 6 months before transitioning to a Dutch Contract with the client.
A minimum of 6 months of experience on a semi-trailer is required. Basic to conversational English skills are necessary.
Candidates must possess a valid Code 95, Driver's Card, and ADR certification* (training cost can be covered by the company).
